Not so big

The Hershey RV Show.

In our first trip to the Hershey RV Show some five years ago the place was crowded. We took three days to review the show and still did not make all the seminars and demos that were available to us. It has not been that way since. We go about every other year and each year we have seen a decline in attendance of exhibitors. This year there may have been more spectators but there was less for them to see.

The stands were almost empty. The aisles had plenty of walking room and not the usual traffic jam of a RV show. Concession stands inside had short waiting lines. Outside if was different. There the lines were long. With the demise of several RV makers there was less in product offerings. The economy showed it's impact.

There are a few other shows that I have attended on the east coast but I measure them all by Hershey's. I felt it can no longer be called the largest in the country.

If it is, then there is a lot of room for growth. Maybe next year
