Homeless vagabonds

That's us. We have bounced around from campsite to campsite for the pass six months on our new found lifestyle. We have stayed at state park, National parks Walmart and Flying J parking lots and private RV Resorts. And we have enjoyed the journey and sites in between.

There is still a lot of paper work being done to change our voting residence, our mailing address and vehicle registration. Plus all the goofy stuff that goes along with it. I thought it would be simple but with the new rules on security it is not.

We spent a couple off weeks at Wilderness RV Resort in Robertsdale, AL. From there it was a couple of weeks at Abita Springs Resort in Abita Spring, LA. This was the stop for the Mardi Gras. then the next two weeks was at Fountainbleu State Park at Mandeville LA. Then we went to Styx Rv Park in Robertsdale, AL. It was a case of testing out different parks to see what we like and disliked. Our next stop was to be Wilderness again but someone mentioned Azalea Acres in Robertsdale. It's less than a mile from Wilderness so we thought we'd try our roots there for awhile and will be here for the next monnth. This will allow us to take care of all the necessary paperwork for a change of residency to Flordia.

Boring? Not on your life. New people. New conversations. New sights. And then there is nature. Things that one normally would see in a zoo or book or on TV we now see live and take our own pictures. So far it's been mostly birds. We listen. Try to locate them and recognize them by their sound. there are deer all over the place. They come out mostly late evening and night so when driving you must be aware. We watched a predator bird dive out of the sky and capture it's dinner. A smaller bird. Feathers flew. It was gone in a flash and we never were able to tell what type either bird was.
